WSM 2® WSM 2® is the special mixture for sowing after the harvesting after the main crop and before the start of the EU set-aside, as well as for corresponding wild fields. Compared to the WSM 1®, the wildlife only miss out on an average of three months “use” as a wildlife preservation area but the farmer gains in flexibility over a whole twelve months! The components of the WSM 2® mix are optimally attuned to late sowing times. Mustard, fodder radish and phacelia generally don’t make it to seed ripening but rather function like a catch crop. Art. 690141 10 kg sack WSM 1® For years, WSM 1® has been the most popular wildlife preservation mix for spring orders from EU set-aside projects and wild fields. In the first year, it offers cover of up to 0.75 m in height. In the second year, the wild rye then grows to around 1.75 m tall. Buckwheat, collard, white clover, oilseed rape and field mustard provide excellent grazing. Grazing and cover up to a height of 1.25 m are guaranteed. Art. 690080 10 kg sack WSM 4® WSM 4® is the ideal mix for a single- or multi-year wild forest field in open landscape. A particular focus is on an attractive, long-life and varied range of blooming plants to meet the constant demand for colourful fallow land and wildflower strips. Because of its particular purpose, this wildlife preservation mix contains no grasses! Art. 690196 10 kg sack WSM 3® WSM 3® is the mixture for permanent roost and breeding cover on soil that is not too dry. This mix is ideal for riverbank reinforcements, renaturing, compensatory measures and the long-term vegetation of 20-year EU set-asides. It reaches its full potential after a development period of several years. Sturdy and tall species of good grazing grasses form the core components of this long-term mixture. Reed canary grass can reach heights of up to 1.50 m. Songbirds (e.g. reed warblers) too will find a safe home here. The ribwort plantain is one of the most important medicinal plants for our wild animals. Art. 690172 10 kg sack NOTE: Feel free to ask for our new wild field brochure!
